Looking to increase your business and get a tax write off? Foster Carriers is currently looking for corporate donors. We would like to advertise businesses that support Foster Carriers. Help foster youth by donating to Foster Carriers. We will help your company or organization by redesigning this page to advertise your business. Foster Carriers continues to serve the needs of foster youth through the generous support of individuals, companies and organizations. FOCUS: (Friends of Children United Society) is a non-profit 503 (c) non-profit group made up of approximately 130 members from every corner of San Diego County. Founded in Coronado in 1982, its sole purpose is to assist needy children in San Diego County. FOCUS donated 50 pieces of luggage to the foster youth served by Foster Carriers. FOCUS is unique in that the organization does not give money to the accredited organizations, rather, they raise money and then shop for the specific items that the children need. Over the years FOCUS has assisted over 45 non-profit organizations with purchases of everything from wheelchairs, medical equipment, clothing, books, backpacks, diapers, formula, toys and games. The Wang Family: Is it ever too early to show a child how to care for others? Macy Wang’s family doesn’t think so. Knowing that Macy has everything she needs in order to grow up to be self-confident, Mr. and Mrs. Wang asked Macy if she would like to give to something to less fortunate kids on her birthday (Macy just turned three). Macy, both generous and mature beyond her years, said yes. Instead of having friends and family give Macy gifts, Mr. and Mrs. Wang asked them to donate luggage to Foster Carriers- Which they did, OVER 50 PIECES! Through their loving concern for others, Mr. and Mrs. Wang, their family, and their friends, have made a real difference in the lives of many foster kids. The Alex Smith Foundation: By providing five-year scholarship, year round housing and extensive individual guidance and support, the Guardian scholars program provides the opportunity to change individual lives, realize true independence and reach their full potential. The Alex Smith Foundation supports Foster Carriers mission of helping foster youth succeed. And Many, Many More FOSTER CARRIERS AND THE CHILDREN THEY SERVE WOULD LIKE TO EXPRESS THEIR DEEPEST GRATITUDE TO ALL OF THOSE THAT CONTINUE TO SUPPORT THE NEEDS OF FOSTER YOUTH !
